At four to Spain where formal education was largely in music. At twelve returned to Mexico City. As a child mastered piano, violin, guitar, later coloratura with vocal recordings. Scored numerous motion pictures. Wrote special numbers for concert singers and film stars. Many concert tours, chiefly in Latin America; occasional engagements in Europe. Presented complete programs of songs of own creation, words and music.
